Just call your local vet and ask... most of them speak English (their studies are usually partly in English)... I'm yet to find a vet that does NOT speak English. Find one that is close to home, easy to get to if you have an emergency.
You might want to consider pet insurance... your home insurance company can offer you a policy (eg through Tapiola, Pohjola etc)
