South Europe girls

Hei, guys!

I have been living in Finland for almost 2 years now, and i have noticed something about finnish guys.
Could you give your oppinion, please? It's just curiosity!

I have some friends from south Europe (spanish, portuguese, italian) which means brown hair, green eyes and they seem to get all the attention from finnish guys. Yeah, they're pretty and nice but even if there is someone pretier in the room, all eyes are on them!

Could you give your oppinion on this? I think it's funny

Some finn girls don't like this attention foreign females.

If there's someone who "looks different" it's bound to happen - people are by nature curious and inquisitive towards something that is different from what they regards as 'normal', even if it is to a very slight degree. This would be the simple answer in most cases. Sometimes a look - is just a look.

But then again, this 'information' is quite useless since you girls can never 100% truly predict who is "the most beautiful woman" in any given room with several specimen of female women of the opposite sex. Nyah nyah nyah!

Really?

Ever noticed that finnish males feel opposite is true. That finnish women, blonde bombshells (or not) drool after anyone and anything that comes from south...

So basically both finnish sexes want to look at something exotic and hate the other sex doing so.

As for reasons why... Well, your friends most likely do not resemble bulldogs so they are quite pretty enough to warrant to have looks. Specially with that extra exotic feel in them... Men are not THAT demanding.

If you want to go to possible biological explanations... I would venture to guess that such distinct difference from local norm gives good reason to assume potential partner carries very different genes, thus making offspring have better "selection" with lower chance to get harmful genes from both parents.

When I (a white female) was living in Tokyo, Japan and hanging around with my Asian co-worker/friend (who looks Japanese, but isn't) many Japanese women would give us angry looks, tell us it's disgusting, some would even spit, some would leave the train carriage and give us a look of disgust to make it clear it was us. We were just friends. It was pretty funny to me, but they felt really insulted to see one of their own preferring something else. This often happened when I was out alone with Asian male friends.
