AFAIK there's no standard procedure for "credit transfer" (I take it that you mean that you haven't completed any degree yet, only an amount of courses?) and in fact, I believe most universities would rather ask you to complete your Bachelor's first and then apply into a Master's programme.

But if you are interested in finding out - the short answer is, we do not know - you will need to ask directly from the university you are interested in. So contact the admissions offices.

Are you from the "European University of Lefke" = the unaccredited one on the Turkish side? Don't think you can transfer 1:1, depends on where you are applying to study what.

Nice blinking Are you a Nigerian, click here on the front page  Atleast somebody is welcoming with open arms for a change. (Just note its not in "EU"rope ;) )

The whole concept of "transferring" your studies - especially if you're doing your first degree and not post-grad research work - sounds a bit fishy to me. Why should the Finnish universities consider admitting half-baked (so to speak) students outside the normal admission procedures...? At best -this is my guess- the university might say, okay, you just apply along with the other degree student applicants and then afterwards IF you are admitted, we can have a look at the courses you've completed at institution X and decide if you'll be given any credit compensation for them.

If the said versity indeed is an unaccredited institution, then the answer to the latter in likely to be "none whatsoever" & the course certificates might make for some good old-fashioned paper dart entertainment whilst waiting for the entrance examination results

Ask directly, though the thing is if you want to go to university you either
a) study in Finnish (theres places you get in studying xnum courses and passing them with flying colors off the open side)
b) have a bachelors degree and then take the test to take masters.

If you want to transfer to an UAS... iffy, but been done (actually by a Nigerian dude from the Turkish side, hence I asked ).

But asking never hurt anyone ;)

Yes :)

As Hank implied, so-called transfer is not necessarily impossible - it's just that it can be much trickier than the regular "application - entrance exam" method of admission. It's not really a recommended way of applying, and in fact the institutions are pretty much at liberty to tell you that they won't handle any transfer applications... however the decision whether they make any such exceptions is pretty much theirs, so you do need to ask directly.

AFAIK the most common system of transferring credits of uncompleted studies abroad is that you apply through the normal channels and then if you become selected you can propose your earlier studies to be accredited towards the new degree. This way you'll have as good chances of becoming accepted as anybody else, but once you start your studies you might graduate faster.

i applied and got accepted into a degree programme at HUT while i still had school in turkey. i was told that i could be exempt from some courses in finland that i had already taken in turkey, but i'd have to negotiate with the professors of those courses ONE BY ONE.

so if you have a few years' worth of courses you'd kinda have to spend a lot of time convincing finnish professors :)
