Does there exist such a job?

Post by rauginta_kojine » Tue Feb 05, 2008 7:00 pm

Hello!

As I am looking for another job (while working in one restaurant) , I am thinking if here is such a job like you have to save the clothes in cloak-room. I mean the job position would be something like cloak-man or cloak-maid.
I thought about going and checking some sport clubs/theatres/hartwall areena/universities etc.

Once I was in a university, they had a big cloak-room but I couldn't see any worker watching/saving those clothes.

So that's why I thought I will write here and ask your opinion.

 :?

Political correctness is the belief that it's possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

Well, in the restaurant you have the gorillas... Areena and Opera and such have, but they are employed usually by some company... aulaisäntä aulaemäntä aulavahtimestari ... naulakonhoitaja is what you're after. BTW the word for the cloakroom is "narikka" from "na runky", that the old clothes fleamarket in Kamppi was called... ;)
Cheers, Hank W.
