Military as a career
Is the military a good choice for a career? If i can't find a job doing something with computers, then I need a fall-back plan and I thought about being a professional soldier. What is the requirements, citizinship-wise, and what is the tolerence if I don't speak finnish well at first? Thanks

Are you citizen?
If not, and if you have not finished finnish military training along with other studies your chances are along lines...
No way in hell.
This is not volunteer based army, career means being officer and those guys have more requirements than basic grunt in for example USA or UK.
To give you quick look on requirements.
To qualify to start studies to become officer you must be...
Reserve officer (NCO possible if all other requirements are met), have completed high school or other suitable studies, have good enough health (I think it was along lines of 2600 meters in Cooper test) and agree to security and drug checkups.
For noncitizen I do not think there is option like US army "join now, become citizen later".

ok if u want , u can go to Iraq and work with oine of the security companies there , I think they have a recrutment officec in Eurep specialy in Germany and X yugeslavia . and U will get more than 15 thousand $ a month but Dude take care from Iraqi Snipers .
