Hi,

Erm... with luck there might be someone here who has been (or currently is) an exchange student in Tampere - however, just for your info, it probably makes more sense if you check the "official" things (course selection etc) directly from the Polytechnic - see http://www.tpu.fi/ - there's also a student union at Tampere University of Applied Sciences (ie Polytechnic)... that particular student union is called TAMKO... see their stuff at http://www.tamko.fi/pages/en/home.php ( toimisto@tamko.fi )

Student housing - http://www.toas.fi -> in English

Also check whether there's a local section of ESN in Tampere (there probably is) - http://www.esn.org/

There are also sites where Erasmus students can "meet" each other... like e.g. http://www.myerasmus.com/...

...just to say that those sites and contacts might be more efficient than this; but of course you're also welcome to try your luck in here :)
