My phone

Post by thedamage » Wed Feb 20, 2008 10:28 pm

Got a Nokia 6120 last autumn and it works really well. Sending and receiving email, taking pics etc is really useful. Using mobile web is better than reading the 100 or Metro Newspaper too.
However, I'm stuck with a couple of things that I would like and I've tried to sort out but can't.

No.1 I like listening to podcasts and I don't always have time to listen to the whole thing, so is there a bookmarking function available anywhere?
No.2 I hate the crappy nokia bookmarks that are in the web browsing section. Is there any way that I can get rid of those? The ble%ding thing won't let me delete them!
No.3 I'd like to keep an eye on how much I'm spending so is there something that I can download to check how much I'll have to pay on my next bill? I wonder if there's software out there that checks the numbers I dial and then counts using the timer how much I should pay.
Any help much appreciated. If you can't help directly, can anyone suggest where I might get the answer?
Cheers.

As for the bill, there's a number you can text, but I have no idea what it is.

Are you saying that I can download this operating system on my phone?
If so, will Nokia maps work on it at all?

Cheers.

Opera is not an OS, it is just an application - web browser(there is opera for the PC, too). It will not interfere (normally) with any other applications you might have (nokia maps).
About "cost control" service, it is operator-specific, even more, it used to be a different number for prepaid/postpaid subscriptions. That means, sonera will have a different number to text to than elisa or dna.
