I have been working as a project assistant in the field of marketing and customer service for many years in Finland. Lucikly the place where I worked didn't require any Finnish. Lately, I had one interview with Manpower in Helsinki but as their customer - Nokia - was looking for someone who should be able to speak and write Finnish, I was not selected and I never got any invitation from them after that invterview.
I will have another interview with Eliakaisla next week but I can already feel the same thing would happen agin as with Manpower.
I am curious to know if any foreigner here with business background, whose spoken and written Finnish is not as good as native Finns, has ever been taken by any Finnish head hunting company?
