Pay scales and such

Post by mrjimsfc » Fri Mar 07, 2008 8:15 pm

I currently earn roughly €21 per hour as a "lead civil engineer" (Engineer III). How much more (or less) would I earn if I went to work in a similar position (Quality Control Engineer) at the Olkilouto/Eurojoki Nuclear Facility? They don't seem to be overly concerned with the ability to speak Finnish. For refference, check http://www.mol.fi/paikat/Job.do?lang=fi ... or=6814112

I'm not in that industry, my missus is though, I'd guesstimate you'd get about what you are getting now ... perhaps up to €23-24 per hour (€4k/month?) depending if its a 168 hour month or 176 hours.

Easiest way to find out is to call them up and ask them.
