I just want to say if my challenge isn't accepted by 1800 today (Sunday), I going to arrange another friendly. I think those who challenge other players in this Cup and their challenges aren't accepted by a certain time, the challenger should get the points by default. A normal default victory in HT is 5-0. I don't want to miss the week's friendly just because my challenge wasn't accepted.... thoughts?

Don't spend anything early on - get an idea of the game first, read the rules, etc. Deffo don't expand the arena or delve into the market...

That's the mistake I made. But now I'm a lot more careful with my money. Concentrate on the players you have right now.

I think, if I recall correctly, one of the first things I did was to expand the stadium...whoops

It didn't really damage the team, it's just that the small amount of cash you get, early on, is best spent elsewhere.

I'm top of the league after the weekend's match :P . How did the rest of you get on?

Bottom of the barrel in my division. Two losses and only one goal scored in two games. I had an injury or two but Saturday's game just plain sucked. My confidence is poor and my team spirit is furious. Oh well, it is early in the season.

Won 2/2. Very happy with that. Currently in 2nd. Just beat a team at the weekend (away) that finished ahead of me last season.

It's my third season. Finished 6th and 5th respectively in my first 2 seasons. This time will be disappointed with 4th, be satisfied with 3rd, happy with 2nd and over the moon with 1st.

Very evenly matched there. I see Ankh-Morpork City top the table after the first round.

My very own Harbin Stars are still trotting along nicely in the cup. 9-0 this morning
