Cleaning kitchen stove

Hi,
All these days i didnot clean my kitchen stove quiet often and now it seems a hell lot of work. I was wondering if anybody has a good idea/tip on cleaning the kitchen stove when it gets dirty brown becos of spilling food while cooking.

It stays clean when you wipe the spillings off every time after cooking (and during cooking). If the dirt is very stuck buy anything named "hankausneste" from the nearest market. You find it in the detergents shelf.

1. Don't spill the food
2. Get an induction stove

That's what I use but on a ceramic (induction) stove.

Everyone is right..... sooooo much easier to wipe clean as you mess it up.

Had the same problem - i managed to spill a lot of grease on the stove (don't ask... i'm a good cook, but not particularly efficient), so much that it discouraged me to attempt cleaning it for some time (also, i switched to eating lots of salads, so i didn't use the stove for some time).

After a while, i started getting bored with the kitchen looking like after a bombardment, so i started cleaning - i usually follow the KISS methodology in all things (Keep It Simple Stupid).
Used paper towels to get rid of the spill, as they are very absorbent - and after most was cleaned, i mixed some warm water and some dish detergent in a bowl, and used a kitchen sponge dipped in that mixture to thoroughly clean the stove, remove all leftovers and crusty deposits, and the grease.

After it was all done, i used paper towels to absorb all the water and everything left on the stove, and it was finally sparkling clean.

After all that gruesome work, i wholeheartedly agree with the other posters - clean it up as soon as possible (ok, wait for the stove to cool down first

), otherwise you'll be sorry.

I second this as one of the best bio cleaner in the market.
They sell a cheaper version of this in LIDL!!

Those tubs of stone last forever and ever..... I've been using the same one for 2-3 years!!!

I bought one and changed it with the original one and didnt notice much of a difference, but that was sometime ago..
The only thing I dont like them ( both the original and the LILD one) is that you have to rub it on and on like forever for them to get a "shining" surface...
