I just received a UPS expediated package from the US, It was massage equipment. I was expecting a call from customs or UPS with a bill for VAT and export taxes. I did receive a call asking what the package contents were and my ID number, and I replied a massage machine, the next call I recieved was the package was being delivered between 2 and 3 pm would someone be there to receive the package I confirmed. I expected they would then give me a bill for the duty charges but when the package arrived I didn't receive one.
The question is will they(UPS or Customs) send me a bill sometime in the future for the charges on the item or did I slip thru the crack?
Has anyone else received products from UPS and when did they charge you the duty fees, or because it was massage equipment there are no fees?
