Sven's a gonner Unbelievable

What did Thaksin think he was buying into before he got man city, or did he think he was getting the other manchester club. Did he not see that pearce only just managed to keep them in the PL

Makes you wonder about whether he knows anything about football, must be the most undeserved sacking going. Bit like yer man at Hearts, looks like he fancies himself as the manager and if its not his way its the highway.

Still Sven hasnt done too bad 2 years left and a nice payoff bit like the england job. Man City must be the most desirable job going, cant remember any manager recently that has finished his tenure.

Poor old Sven. Did a great job. City are usually competing with the barcodes for the title of Premiership clown, but not this season. But then again, Thaksin has invested a fair bit, and won't fancy giving more cash to someone he doesn't trust. But as Simon said (hoho!), he doesn't seem to understand football or the even the Premiership landscape.

As for managers, it could be an interesting summer. AC/Inter, Barca, Bayern, Chelsea, Liverpool and Real could all be in the market for new head coaches. Which makes me wonder, who could Man City attract? I sure hope Moyes signs a new deal...

Maybe the manager of the team who gets knocked out of the Euros first will have to manage Man City :lightbulb:

Here's hoping the SO slopes of to bed early (she's got a cold) so i can settle down and watch Barca knock Manure out of the cup. :D
I'm not desperate enough to stream a Manure game.

I doubt it, but the Celtic one is a rumour doing the rounds. The 'SSS' scenerio comes from the darkest depths of a tortured mind...

A glance at the league table would raise more than just suspicion.

1-0 Manure. Scholes looked like he couldn't adam-n-eve-it. Barca mauling them at the moment. VDS quite wise to slow it down.

Thought mu were there for the taking last night, not a convincing win but Barca didnt look too hot either. What about Henry, whats happened to him? Reminds me of his days at was it Juve?. Ronaldo seems to have lost some form.

Anyways itll be the dullest final going :x :( :?

Well i'll be gutted if Sven does go, but if you look at his buys they hav'ent been great, only petrov and Elano have been good. The rest has been from the youngsters who have come thru! Maybe the chairman doesn't feel safe giving him more money? We certainly know he doesn't settle for mediocrity! It's his money!

Disgruntled city players might mean we'll get Richards on the cheap! He's an Arsenal fan anyway.
