It took IFk until half way through the season to get 9 points last year. Okay, apart from HJK these were all matches you'd hope to get something from if you are looking to at least avoid relegation but they've done it with a young, new, inexperienced squad. Wiklöf has done very well as he didn't look up to top division standard when I saw him in a friendly.

Veikkausliiga Away Day

Salopian and I (plus Simon if he confirms) will be making the journey from Helsinki to Lahti to watch the glorious FC Honka batter FC Lahti senseless.
Anyone else wanting to join us is more then welcome, we'll be leaving by train from the Rautatientori at around half past four.
Those not living in the Helsinki area can meet up wth us in Lahti at about quarter to six to soak up the pre-match atmosphere.
Match tickets cost around 10€, I think.

Litmanen scored two and set up two against some Estonian team at the weekend. It's been a long time since I heard about him playing a pre-season friendly.
