Giggsy rescued my nerves just as Magicj and Salopian were winding me up with their digs.. :beer_yum:

Not sure what to make of the CIty result, so I'll just chortle.

Good on Fulham. That promise of hampers full of <word censor> from Al Fayed seemed to get their peckers up.

Final word to Everton.
Thank the lord they qualified for Europe, or the moaning from certain quarters would have been unbearable..

Interesting! EPL deffo gets an extra team in UEFA Cup qualifying rounds for fair play. Currently it's City taking the place. But, there's two matches to be updated. Sun Jihai was booked as well as Dunne given marching orders...not sure how they add it up, but it'll be close! Looking at the table, it might be that there are FIVE clubs with better disciplinary records than the team that takes the UEFA berth! Those five have already qualified for the CL/UEFA. Madness.

Criteria, etc here

Nice work Simon  Good to see the Crazy Gang in there even though they're in the bottom three. I used to love going down to plough lane to watch them duff up and turn over the big boys.

I have a question related to Finnish football:

I could check google but with a reliable bank of knowledge contained within 'Jumpers for Goalposts' i thought i'd ask here.

Some years back i sat in the torrential rain in the then uncovered east stand at the olympic stadium. I was watching that rarest of events, yep you guessed it a Frank Lampard undeflected goal  for West Ham against Jokerit in the InterBobbins Cup or was it maybe the Uefa? The question is this, where are Jokerit these days?? I've been browsing through the IS Futis mag (Buy IS and pay an extra 2e for the mag, hold on, the mag costs 2e, where's the offer there? Answers on a postcard please) and can't find any mention of them or spot them in any league tables. I don't care about them as i'm a HJK fan but wondered what had happened to them.

Cheers.

Sold to HJK in 2004 (some fan YOU are!) :)

The junior stuff went to Allianssi. Harry got bored.

It's all here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FC_Jokerit

Used to be PK-35 in Pihlajamäki until Harkimo got his claws into them. Amazingly, that name lives on.

Magic, the indoor pitch we played on throughout the winter 'belonged' to PK-35.
Apparently they have loads of youth teams (hence all the nippers that played at the same time) and the community around there loves them.
Seems a nice club.

They're doing pretty well this year too, top of the league after two games and could easily get promotion. Another option for you Helsinkilainen, apart from the evil HJK....
