Trying to find Hanes and Tabasco Habanero Sauce

Post by mridang » Tue May 20, 2008 5:07 pm

Hey,

THis is simple one. I even feeling guilty for posting it here cause it's such a trivial thing. Anyways, here goes:

Anyone know where i could buy sweatshirts from Hanes like this one:
http://hanes.timarco.fi/Product51dc17b4 ... 9d558.aspx
I don't want to order it online as I'd like to see for myself. Hanes generally makes good stuff. :)

..and the second trivial thingy - Tabasco Habanero Sauce.
I've been hunting for this
http://www.tabasco.com/tabasco_tent/pep ... _sauce.cfm
The only place I thought would have it was the the Stockmann but like people say, if Stockmann doesn't have it - you either don't need it or you can't get it in Finland. I still thought I'd ask here.

Maybe someone would know...
...
...
maybe.

Thanks everyone.

When you say CityMarket are you referring to K-CityMarket?

My local little KK-market has it. That has been on the market for decades already, so it it is not some rarity that is hard to find.

Hobby Hall stores used to sell Hanes. I don´t know if they still do.

And I dont know if Stockmann sells Hanes, but they sell Fruitof theLoom... then again with those prices I order online from Germany in bulk. And the tabasco is the habanero-tabasco something different from the "regular" red tabasco? I know theres red and green in my local K, but I use west indian pepper sauce to remove the lining of my intestines.
Cheers, Hank W.

The peppers used for the traditional Tabasco sauce are Tabasco peppers and are QUITE different from Habaneros in taste and HEAT.

If it is the heat you are after, I recommend that you grow your own habaneros. I had few bushes over a year ago and I still have enough chile powders to last a year or so.
