Import tax on boats?

Anyone know what the import tax (if any) is on boats? Say for example I had the chance to buy a small motor boat rather cheaply in the UK would I have any duty to pay if I brought it to Finland in a similar way as is done for cars?

This wouldn't be "removal goods" since I already live here. Best I could find on the Tulli website was this:

"If the importer is not liable to pay VAT (usually a private person), he or she buys the goods at a price including VAT. The importer does not need to pay VAT in Finland and the purchase need not be declared to the Finnish Customs. Some new means of transport, like motor-driven land transport equipment, aeroplanes and boats over 7,5 m long, are exceptions to this rule under certain conditions."

Boat would be <7.5m, so hopefully I'm in the clear

Thats a good question, however in my past experience if the item you buy look nice or goes fast or just in general inhance you life to any extent......Tulli will tax it.....Though if you dont need to register the boat then how would they actually know. I personaly would go to Tulli and just ask. The info you get from the site is pretty poor.
Try to find the same type of boat in Finland and compair the price then that may give you an idea of how much the difference is, then that may give an idea of any possible tax due if any. Normally the will tax to balance the price.....hence the car tax idea which is actually illegal according to EU law. The only allow it in order not to cause such a change in the balance of price, but as we see the prices have fallen slowly. I cant see why the boat idea would be any different.
