Public Dental Care

Post by jvisiting » Thu May 22, 2008 1:04 pm

Hi.

I was wondering if anyone has recently been to the Public Dental Care, as I have my first ever appointment beginning of June.

I would like to know how much they charge just for the visit, fillings and tooth extraction.

I'm not sure if prices are same in all cities (probably are, but..):
per visit: 7€
fillings: 11-32€
extraction: 11-22€
x-rays: 5€
local anesthetic: 5€ (best 5€ that I have used <3 )

Visa is for visiting, Residence Permit for residing.

Upphew, thanks for your reply.

I am asking because I am going to Bulgaria in July and I wanted sort of to compare the prices.

And how about having a tooth capped? I'm hoping it won't break the bank........

Capped? Does that mean a porclaine (or something) cover over teeth? If that is what it means, public dentists don´t do it, it is "esthetic dentistry", and braces are the only esthetic dentistry that is done by public dentists.
