I'm sure that they would but they probably want you to pay the full price for the phone (or for free if it's after the contract period)

Wait ... is the sim card locked or is it the phone that's locked?

So what is the problem, is the phone not locked? just the sim card, what exactly do you want to do. Use the sim card in another phone, or use the phone with another sim card?

In contracts of that sort it's usually the phone that is locked, meaning, it will not accept any other SIM. A provider doesn't care which phone is that SIM used from, as long as it's used so that you make monthly bills (and pay them, obviously). But they do care that you don't enjoy the pleasures of the fancy phone (that you got so cheap) while dodging them and paying another provider's services instead.

After the locked term period of the contract is over - meaning, you have paid the phone in full - then you are free to do with the phone whatever you want.

And no, there's no places like that. Nothing legal at least. Unless you have some "phone-hacker" friends that do this sort of phone unlocking along with un-blocking phones from black lists, stolen and such.

No offense but what were you thinking while signing up for that deal Having that locked system is the whole point of those contracts.
