Hello,
I am about to set up my own website for my wife teaching business in Finland and was looking at all the different websites domains. As I can't speak Finnish, I was going thru the normal English sites and they was quoting me 185 euros for two years of registration. It did however explain that you have to live in the country and that the price was due to the special conditions it has.
My question is this, is there any companies I can register with in Finland and maybe they can host the account too plus does anyone know the costs for the .fi domain.
Thanks very much
.fi domain-where do i registar

Not sure where you were reading, but you can only buy through ficora and the price is much less than you stated above. And it's all in english as well. You do need a proper Finnish business already established to get one though.
Well there are other, slightly off camber ways of getting a .fi site, but it sounds like you already have a business so theres no need to go that route.
If you need help with it, or are looking for someone to host/design the site, let me know.
www.bluuweb.com <- my company.
www.koiramaja.fi <- my Finnish company that was designed by the above company.

Go to http://www.int2000.net
It is cheap and has served me well for 5 years. It's in Finnish but I didn't speak a word when I took it out, you get an email with a user name and password and the settings you need. You won't need much help to set it up..
