dance schools or workshops

Post by mineer3223 » Fri Jun 13, 2008 11:23 am

Hi everyone!

I will come to Tampere as an Erasmus student for the Fall semester 2008. I am studying engineering, but in my home country I am also a contemprory dancer ( I did not get official education of dancing). Beside contemproray dance, I have tried other different kinds as an amateur, like funk, salsa, rock n roll vs. I would like to improve myself in any of these and would like to learn new kinds of dancing.

I was wondering if there is any professional school of dancing that I might attend for one semester in Tampere, while I am studying in TUT. Or is there any dance company that I might participate? Or any workshops available throughout the year?

If any of the above exists, do you know where it is and who I should contact? Also, how much apprx. does it cost?

Thank youuuu!!!!!!! :D

nobody replies to you... now stop whining :)

here there is a list of salsa-latin dance schools in finland (and tampere):

i believe at least salsahouse/hiphophouse has a good reputation (unfortunately the website is horrific and seems to be only in finnish)

another one of good reputation is salsapasion
