Both schools are good, but you're asking about engineering vs. business degree.

Re: need some help to choose school
so you can apply to several master programmes also in Finland? i wonder if you can do that at the same university

I never found the companion that was so companionable as solitude.

It's a bit more hazy an issue than when applying to polytechnics - but seeDraculcuCoarne wrote:so you can apply to several master programmes also in Finland? i wonder if you can do that at the same university

I can do a product in SAP with a polytecnic course.
I'd say its a 50/60 chance but with the programming/engineering degree you'd have more chances... Jyväskylä isn't exactly "renowned" for that but not bad. Then again as ÅÅ is *cough* better people then you could get lucrative contacts if you knew how to network - but for "job in Finland" you'd need to learn the language eventually - or in the case of ÅA two languages. But then again - the question is whats your aim?

Unfortunately, this is only available in Finnish (I think) - but according to a recent survey by the Finnish Central Chamber of Commerce the four "best" universities from the point of view of entrepreneurship/companies/business are:
Turku School of Economics
Åbo Akademi
University of Joensuu
University of Jyväskylä
- NB however that if I understood correctly this is the overall result when all fields of study are taken into account.

The report is available on pdf on the above page, if anyone's interested (and knows Finnish)
