http://www.finnair.com/finnaircom/wps/w ... ATAULU.pdf

That's the Finnair bus timetable (go to finnair.com and search yourself for the local bus version).

Were you clever enough to go to finnair.com and search the local bus timetable? There are other options, but some take longer and may involve changes

Just looking using tomorrow's info. There is a bus, the 61, to the train station at 4:34am and a train to Helsinki at 5:05am. That is pretty close, don't you think.

Yeah, the 61 does go at those times, about every half hour or so if i remember right.
Plus it's far cheaper than getting a taxi!

And you ask for a "seutulippu" so you pay the 3,80 or whatever it is and the ticket is valid on the bus *and* on the train as its exchange to Helsinki valid for an hour. If you just pay local fare 2,40 then you pay the same 3,80 on the train as well. So just say "seutu" instead of Tikkurila or Helsinki to avoid megaconfusion and have the 3,80 ready in change. And then you don't have to worry about finding the conductor on the train.

You can buy the ticket valid all the way to Helsinki on the local bus.
