registering a trailer
registering a trailer
I went to the Katsastus place today after fitting all the crap to my trailer I was told I needed to register it here. Now they want a paper showing the date of first registration....in the UK where I bought it. All the Uk people are laughing now because you don't need to register a trailer in the uk. You just go to the auto parts store and buy a number plate the same as your car. I explained this to the guy there, he said okaaayyy... call our technical people, I'll get their number for you. I looked at the paper and talking to their people costs €2.50 per minute!!! They can call me. I've emailed AKE for information but has anyone else had to deal with this? What did you do? I'm not towing it back to the uk.
Don't work me, I just ask here

Re: registering a trailer
I registered my new trailer here after bringing it from UK (with a car on the back)... it was simple, but I did have the papers with me as I had just bought it.
With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine.
