hello;
as far as i know, DNA, sonera, elisa offering 3g wireless internet access with a usb dongle. I am looking for somewhere to compare their performance. I am in a need of such device but, for example, i am testing elisa's 384kbit connection and the performance is crawling on the floor. connection and data rate is not stable. it is usually around 40kbps. It might be about the connection type (384 atm) but still i am not having stable connection speed.
Are there anyone out there who uses 1mbit or 2mbit connections and can comment about their performances? f. ex. can you watch streaming video for lets say 1 hour with out having any pauses? (which requires stable data xfer rate)
thanks in advance

Re: 3g Wıreless Internet Service Providers & Their Performances
Well, I have Elisa 3G 1Mbps and I am quite satisfied with its performance. I get download of 1 Mbps at times. Upload is arround 344 Kbps. But, I have to warn you that performance may vary during peak hours and network strength.ManikDepresif wrote:hello;

Re: 3g Wıreless Internet Service Providers & Their Performances
update on the performance issue;
i've recently discovered that my bandwidth optimizer (cfosspeed) which is actually doing very great job on broadband connections, need to be turned off or configured properly in order to work with 3g broadband. after doing such, now i am having full performance of 384kbps and it looks good.
ps: thanks for answer catchmeifucan
