Laptop Display Broken

Post by sdk_2008 » Sun Jul 27, 2008 12:57 pm

Hi guys,

I accidentally broke my Laptop's display. It's still in Gurantee period, but I do not know if this kind of problems are covered or not.
Does anyone know if this kind of case usually covered by the Gurantee or not?
If I need to fix it with my own cost, where I can find a cheap and good service provider?

Regards

The problems caused by yourself are not covered by the Guarantee.

Exactly same thing happened...

No cheap way, BUT it is covered by home insurance, assuming you have that.

Cost was about 240€ for the panel + labor.

Any recommended service providers? Names, Web URL, or phone number? Thanks a lot! :)

if its under warranty, take it to that place and they will send you to their "place". They will have small repair place locally. In Tampere, ours was with Verkkokaupa but they used a small company up the street. I am sure its the same.

alternatively, google your model number, there are plenty of sites selling displays if you fancy DIY.
