Mintenenace engineer looking for a job

Hi all,
I am moving to Finland as soon as I have a job to go to.I am moving in with my finnish girlfriend in the Turku area,I am willing to commute a distance,but not as far as Helsinki,any help would be greatly appreciated.
My background is biased towards electrical,but am fully conversent with the mechanical side of it as well,I am fully trained in welding.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I heard somewhere that there was a shortage of welders. I just googled "finland and welders" and this was first in the list :

I'm not an expert in this field, but if you are a licenced welder, just go to the Turku Shipyards and I'm sure you will be greeted with the red carpet treatment and big smiles.........
