Wanted: High salary for less effort

Post by cressers » Wed Aug 06, 2008 12:27 am

I am looking for a job, should pay about 6000€ a month, no Finnish required, or any other language than English.

Preferably I should be required to do minimal work, about 20hrs a week would be spot on, no labor, just office type work.

Benefits should be commensurate with such a salary (car, pension, shares etc).

I would like to work from home, and am OK with travel as long as its in business/First class and my GF can travel with me at the companies cost.

I am an expert at MS PowerPoint. I have an education and a work history, but would rather not bother printing/updating it all if possible, though obviously this is negotiable.

Please PM me with details of what you have to offer, response after noon.

BR

Overly Optimistic.

Sorry, I just re-read your application and see that you have a work history... this excludes you from marketing.

You have an education and you can use a computer so this excludes you from politics.

When you say you want to work about 20 hours a week, do you mean you want to be at work 20 hours a week... if so then management would be a good option, they are typically at work for 20 hours a week but only work for half of that.

Hmmm....Salary and hours are about right.......You could be a prostitute! :ochesey: The line dividing a male prostitute from a successful politition is really hazy so when you get a little older (and less attractive) you could have a lucrative carrer as a politition.

There are alot of lazy bastards in higher education...o.k they are not earning 6000 euros a month but hey they have around three months off each year for holidays. I mean some barely do 20 hours a month.

I'm reliably informed that accountants and business lawyers are reasonably well imbursed for doing the thin end of @#$% all.

This is Finland so the language is going to be an issue... so you'd have to be prepared to do your @#$% all in Finnish.

OK, I now have some good options to look at.

I am not that lazy, 20hrs IN THE OFFICE is fine by me, bearing in mind that after lunch, coffee, and general moving about the office, there should be time for 2-3hrs a day.

I am in management at the moment, and sadly get none of the benefits sought. Much more than 20hrs a week, and much less than 6k a month.

Clearly law/accountancy is out as they are going to take WAY too much work.

Politics seems interesting, clearly no education needed.

Education as a career, interesting. Clearly I can't "do" so I should definitely look at the "teach" part ;)

And as for these Norwegians, they just sound right up my street, but what training do I need to excel in such a role???
