Spray Paint

Post by chickensexer » Wed Aug 06, 2008 8:14 pm

Hello dear all,

sorry if my question seems stupid but I really don't know where to find it. Would someone please give me a hint on where can I find spray paint - metallic, stone etc look - for indoors use. My natural guess was Bauhaus but they don't have so I have no idea now.

Thank you.

Thank you onnko but here are few questions back to you:

What are "similar" stores? Sorry but I really don't know.
auto part stores(biltema and similar),
Not sure whether what I'm looking for has something to do with car parts. When I said "metallic" I meant "metallic look", not the paint actually being metallic. I need the paint for home decoration projects. But I'll try to check there.
And dont spray tags or ill kick your ass
Aside from assk kicking (dream on!) - what are you talking about, what tags??

I saw big shelf of spray paints when i last visited (4 years ago) so you may find what you want. And most of biltema has nothing to do with cars :)

Well, yes, that is the debate: art or vandalism.

I bought spray paint from Bauhaus (Espoo) a few weeks ago. It was orange but they had plenty of other colours.
There are also the craft shops like www.Sinooperi.fi and the other one near Kamppi and the one in Petikko (can't remember the names) and I think there are a couple of on-line stores like this one: http://www.cchobby.fi
There are also specialist shops like MM in Niittykumpu (next to the post office).

Remember, that because of of those darn vandals, the parliament in its great wisdom has illegalized the possession of spray paint at public places. So be careful - when carrying that stuff from store to home - to not to be seen by the coppers, or make up a good excuse beforehand. Welcome to nanny state.

Police does not search ordinary people´s bags or lurk around hardware storres.

I saw stone/marble/cracked surface etc. spray paints just 15 minutes ago in K-Rauta. Costs 17 €.
