No need to mention it - it's so obvious.

Hey! Don't laugh at peoples failings in the olympic games - people will get angry - as they did with me.

(but it is really, REALLY funny though)

It's easy to find excuses for bad performances, i.e. low population etc but I think you have to look at others reasons, like facilities available, how many swimming pools are available to the public and running tracks, the GB team have been ridiculed so much in the past for below par results (Atlanta 1 Gold), so I think we should just applaud the winners and countries who do well. Maybe we should just hope that all drug users are now caught and everybody is innocent who hasn’t been proven otherwise....If we call China and USA for doing well but having huge population where does India figure?

Well i'm just hoping the GB can stay third which will be an amazing achievement, i myself laughed when i saw the estimated medal hopes of the GB team..

18 Gold
10 Silver
20 Bronze....

Just smiles now no laughs..

 to the olympics!!

The money that the UK puts into sports is pathetic at best...seems that they have got it right this time.

The funding and facilities in the UK have been terrible - no pools etc...I hope it's something they keep up.

Well it seems the investment and medal haul this year is part of the long time plan for success in 2012, let's just hope the stadium's ready in time, and the tube works and the........

yeah - my feelings e....I can't spell??!!!? excatly...er....my feelings are the same. I really am dreading that opening ceremony.

I really hope that the money pumped into the athletes is an ongoing thing. I remember a young indian kid who got a silver or something in the wrestling world champs was taken to the olympic commity (or some folks) to get sponsorship money and their attitude was "well, if he can get silver without any support I am sure if he trained harder he could get a gold"...

That's a typical attitude in the UK regarding sports....unless it';s football of course and then people bend over backwards.
