living expenses "down south" are almost equal... Turku being a place nobody wants to be at is easier to find student housing tho...

the thing is *if* you get student housing, and from where... Espoo is big and composed of "villages" with varying access to the "wrong direction" - and the polytechnics have 3-4 campuses so it can be closer to live in another town which is "across the street" rather than "in Espoo" you commute 40 minutes through the forest... 20 minutes wolves chasing you...

in the boonies it might be cheaper to "live" but then again theres only the one store to go to, public transport may be varying and then if you want to "go out"... so theres the one disco in town... so you might spend more money than you would otherwise... so it all depends on things - personal lifestyle etc... and if you are from a metropole somewhere in Europe your first question is "where are all the people"...

Well I hope to find a student flat close to the campus :ohno:

About my lifestyle.. hmm im not a party boy but I like to do some drinking, going to gigs, just hang out aroundwith friends and blabla :D Something that I know its that espoo its just hpuses and flats and so on, there is really nothing to do there. Thats what my friends from espoo said to me.
