VAT Refund on Returned Purchase

How does one go about getting a VAT refund from Customs on a purchase that was returned?

well you need to go back to the customs office with the package, and I guess it requires filling out some forms and then I suppose they want the postages and such to be paid for returning beforehand... never done it, but thats what it says on the website you need to contact them beforehand and the return must be done within 3 months.

Yeah thats correct... you gotta to back to the customs office to send it back. Then fill out a butt load of paperwork and then you will get your money. But they won't be happy about it!
