I know its only September but I was just wondering when I fill out the form for driving to work reimbursment at the end of the year how long should I expect to wait to receive the money, also is it paid in a lump sum or do they just spread it out over the next years tax?
Thanks in advance....

Re: Claiming your km's
you include it in with your tax sheet and it comes with the returns

Re: Claiming your km's
but when you apply for a new tax card you can add many things that'll be deducted, so it's worth seeing if you can put it there. Then you'll get a reduced tax percentage for the rest of the year and won't have to wait to get it. I did this last year with the work-done-in-your-home deduction.

but you still have to remember to send in all the papers for the deductions, as the tax office will send you the paperwork in June with "back taxes" due you have to then zero out with your deductions... as they don't confirm for example the amounts until after the fact.
