Anyone find Craiglist useful?

I was wondering if anyone here has used the Finnish Craiglist and if it was useful to you?

Dont you know about Craiglist??
Well the thing is that HEL/ Finland might not find classifieds in an Internet site that catchy yet..but no marketing has been done yet and so mebbe it ll take time to catch up ( like http://sfbay.craigslist.org/ where it started)

It seems CL is dead here but I found it moderately useful. Sold a lot of stuff on it and every time the people actually showed up to buy it.

Thanx...thought as much,..I guess it could be that there is no marketing and language barriers..

In NYC, CL is pretty much what *everyone* uses to find an apartment.

Also to find a job/date/dining room furniture/pet/extras for movies or contestants for TV shows/plumber/sell a car/buy a house/get free tickets/do market research/etc. etc.

There's an overwhelming amount of activity...too bad most of the international sections are so dead except for spam.

The Finland page of Craiglist is full of those scammers (Western Union money transfer types). I don't think even one of the advertisement there is genuine.

Not only are most of those ads non-genuine, hardly any are actually from Finland.
What a joke of a site it is anyway, why bother...
