Hi
We are about to start a new business, and going to register an "Oy" soon. One question actually came into my mind, as it's obligatory to have an accountant, so I wonder, what is the common average price for an accountant service? I guess they are charging by hour?
Thanks!

You don't have to hire an bookkeeper, you can do it yourself. It depends on your turnover.
If your annual turnover is less than 8500 euro then it is not really worth hiring one as you will not be liable for Alv anyway.
My guess is they charge per transaction rather than by the hour but I might be wrong. BTW. Don't expect a bookkeeper to give you tax advice. They don't. They just do your books for you.

Thanks for advice, penelope!
So anyone knows how much does the price per transaction cost, then?

It really depends on a book keeper. Some charge per transaction, some per transaction + a monthly fixed fee on top of that. Mine charges a monthly fixed fee of 111 €, no charge for transactions. That 111 € per month includes tax declarations and all reports to the tax office.
