Checked that already. Its not actually on the road itself its by the side off the motorway. It looks like they could be building a extra lane as that stretch is really busy in the mornings.Jukka Aho wrote:Perhaps you can find it here.simon wrote:The road works at the side Lahdenväylä south bound between ring 3 and where 7 highway joins? Have no fear, they'll probably screw it up by making sure the entrance/exit ramps are sufficiently short that they jam everything up again. It's the Finnish way (cf. getting onto Turunväylä northbound from Kehä II).simon wrote:Checked that already. Its not actually on the road itself its by the side off the motorway. Re: What are they doing
That'll be right. If they dont have short enough entry lanes then they'll stick sets of traffic lights at any sort of small T junction. What is it with traffic lights here? Any small junction has traffic lights, and when your in a area where they hae to be co-ordinated to keep the flow going you can guarentee they are set up for completely the opposite effectotyikondo wrote: Have no fear, they'll probably screw it up by making sure the entrance/exit ramps are sufficiently short that they jam everything up again. Also, sitting tonight at another pointless set, the oncoming traffic had two green lights whilst we had one

A friend travels through Pasila on the bus and says that it can take 20 odd minutes to get through normally. During the summer, the traffic lights were disabled and there was no hold up, 5 minutes from one end to the other.
What a joke these traffic light are, grrrr shakes fist at those god damm traffic lights.......
