Diwali in Espoo

Post by enk » Fri Oct 24, 2008 11:18 pm

Came across a sign in Sello today about Diwali. There'll be festivities at
Alberganesplanadi 2 (a block south of Sello) on
Sunday at 4 p.m. Free entrance and food.

Our Kuopio ones had theirs yesterday... was lots of fun and food was great, so was the music and singing. No fireworks, but sparklers sufficed.

We never made it since the oldest one and I got "stuck" playing with Legos :)
He decided to build the cantina from spare parts and it was Star Wars vs.
Harry Potter from then on out :D

It was so nice to only have one kiddo at home today \o/ I think my MIL deserves
sainthood for taking the youngest two so I could get schoolwork done. <3

Isnt this post a little bit racist ?
FOR Indians ?? and you are living in a Foreign land ?
and even in the advertisement, you say that in order for kids to participate in the dance or singing competition, you should only have Hindi Songs ?
Since when did you become so narrow minded...living in a foreign country and claiming tradition to safeguard your narrow mindedness...
