Rock climbing course in Turku?

Post by Bubba Elvis XIV » Sat Oct 25, 2008 11:14 am

Anyone wanna go?

It's 60 notes for 6 hours on a Sunday. When there's 10 people, they hold the course. I'm trying to find 10 people who are either English speaking or want to do/capable of doing the course in English, then I can ask for them to hold it in English - Saves them bouncing around with the languages and being annoying for Finns and non-Finns alike.

This is just an idea I have - anyone interested?

I would be tentatively interested in that right now. We are on a budget right now and I'm not sure how that fits but I will run it by my wife tonight. But that could be two more....

Nothing's decided or confirmed...I just need to know if I can get 10 folk together. If I can, then I'll investigate further. I don't want to organise something and get 2 people (and potentially get stung with a huge bill).

The course is Sunday - 6 hours and I believe it's 12 - 18:00.

It's a beginners course so he will probably be too advanced for us. (and I am scared of heights).

There is a minimum age of 14...so I guess your son won't be allowed to go.

I don't read Finnish too well, so I cant say if there's something else for kiddies! Here's the link in case you wish to research it further.

Peruskurssi

Kurssin käytyäsi sinulla on tarvittavat valmiudet liittyäksesi Kruxi ry:n jäseneksi.

I think from this under 14s can't do a course...They can climb but not attend the course. Unless there is a mistake on the page...but I mailed the guy and I'll ask him when he replies.

No worries Mr Designer...Thanks for letting me know! Looks like you're gonna have to climb trees in the urheilupuisto until then :D

I'm not sure about that base jumping thing. I think this tower in pääskynvuori is 122 meters in height. So I think one could do that from that height but they would have to be insane.
