I'm a individual consumer. Thanks, I'll contact first IJ. I'll check your link.ajdias wrote:Is this company asking money from you as a individual consumer or as a business /person in business?
individual consumers have higher protection from the law and the company must produce evidence that you've ordered some good or service from them. Check with kuluttaja virasto for your rights. In any case contact IJ and tell them what's wrong with the invoice from this company (ask Pursuivant for his letter, he probably knows it...)
Are they asking for a supposedly unpaid bill that you've paid at the last moment? In that case tell them and they'll check with their client (depending on the size/relationship with the company, they can just wave it.)

If you pay so many bills, you should know how the system works. Being angry doesn't help. Just be friendly and use the right procedures.eyeonyou wrote: YOU ARE ROOT SO THAT'S MY LAST ANSWER TO YOU. I PAY EVERY YEAR MORE THAN 20K ON BILLS SO THIS 140 EURO IS NOTHING.THEY CHEAT ME, THATS ABOUT.
And fighting over a small bill just out of principle is stupid, especially if you didn't use your rights correctly in the first place.
Re: Intrum Justitia
Take all the paperwork to the consumer ombudsman and ask them if you have a case.
Or pay up.
You have no more options.

11 months ago I told to that company very clear that I would not pay that bill, but they still continue to send me invoices. We discussed at that time for 1 month about this bill but we did not agree. They even try to force me using different tricks to make me pay.Pursuivant wrote:which should have been done the 11 months ago already...

so you should have taken it to the consumer authority back then...
certain bills are collectable without court, what kind of bill is it?

br,
At the end of the day IJ are being told to act on behalf of its customer, ie the person you 'apparently' owe money too. I think IJ are only interested in you paying the money back, no more no less.
You have a dispute, take it up with the original company, you wont get nowhere taking IJ to court, they are not the biggest in EU for collecting debts for being wrong, think about it.
Re: Intrum Justitia
on invoice said "huonekaluja" but there is no such product took by me from them (is this a fraud?).they want from me some unjustified compensation for cancelling an order. in this case they have to justify the compensation costs but they dont want to do it...for 11 months.I consider exagerated the amount they request. they know but tey continue sending bills. It's a dispute and therefore I tink that only a court can clarify. Not this strange IJ. I feel beeing abused by a big company.Pursuivant wrote:so you should have taken it to the consumer authority back then...

Re: Intrum Justitia
twice i got this kind of paper....
once from dna, when i missed paying their bills, ,,,for a small €7,50 they added 20...and then came to 27.50, i had to blame the miss on my osuuspankki, when the automatic bill payment system did not take this bill up
the second time, when we cancelled the training club, and they wanted the yearly charge, even though we cut off on january, but then got a bill for €65,00....
i payed both time, i could have gone hell raising and blaming x, y, z.....but my health is important and would rather safe myself from a heart attack..that is all these things do...

the story is here?

what strikes me, is OP asks for advice, but does not follow that advice....
if one gets bad credit records in finland, life will be very difficult.

and the nominee for "clarvoyant of the year":
rinso wrote:If they sent you a bill for cancellation costs and you don't pay, they can use a collection bureau.eyeonyou wrote:If you haven't paid a deposit, you can cancel anything you want if the item doesn't cost so much that it will be worth it for the seller to start legal procedings.
If they have a contract with that bureau, they only pay a percentage of the bill. It's a no loose situation for them.

Re: Intrum Justitia
no help? and what exactly could we say? that you are somehow better off now as you were 11 months ago when you already had exhausted your venues? you already had discussed this over with the consumer ombudsman? so what did they tell you that we could not? and what did you do? sorry, but everyone at some point of time needs to pay the tuition fees of life - sometimes they come cheaper if you don't wait for the intrum justitia...
