Which it has been 200 years of the Great War of 1808-1809 whence the Eastern part of the Kingdom of Sweden was severed by Their Imperial Majesty the Czar of All Russias Alexandre I and by His most Gracious Acts at the Diet of Porvoo made into the Grand Duchy of Finland. Herewith the National Museum collaborating with the Royal Armory of Sweden have a Themed Exhibition

Open Tue-Wed 11-20, Thu-Sun 11-18, Mondays closed.

In 2008 the Museum is also closed:
- 6.12. Independence Day
- 24.-25.12. Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
In 2009 the Museum is also closed:
- 1.1. New Year's Day
- 10.4. Good Friday

Entrance 2008: 7,00 / 4,00 €, free entry for those under 18.

Something i really resent and dont like is that i have to thank russians that they conguered finland from swedes, they were assholes and thank good we god rid of them with our own country but i cant say that they didnt help on that.
