Where to buy reflective material to make heijastin?

Post by luckykitty » Sun Nov 16, 2008 9:46 pm

Hi,
I want to cut out some shapes from some reflective material to make those reflectors (heijastin?) that people put on their jacket and bags etc. Does anyone know where I can find something like that?

Thanks
Luckykitty

Eurokangas probably has it and you can even buy strips of the stuff in the supermarkets (eg Prisma) but it is quite expensive.

Just be aware that there are good and bad reflectors and the difference between them can be huge! There is probably some EU directive about reflectors, but I doubt that Tiimari or Eurokangas know about that.

Yes, and I found some good ones at Biltema too.
You can also get them at Hongkong etc.
I ve not found a huge difference between Biltema and Hongkong or Tiimari ( and I know that Biltema is pretty good).
