hi,
I am planning to apply to masters degree in finland, probably in some of the university of technologies. I have heard that i wont be able to send a joint application for a group of universties as it is possible to do with UAS applications. Now when sending my ielts score report from the institution offering it, do I need to give addresses for each individual universities? Or would there be any address for which i would request the ielts/toefl result to be sent to, and the universities i am applying to would get my official score report from this place?
I am asking coz I am looking to apply to other places also, not only in finland, and almost all universities require an official test score reported directly from the testing centre, however there is a limit to the number of institutions one can give addresses of so that they can be officially notified of the language score report.
(i think toefl only allows official test score reported to only 4 institutions freely, and an additional 4 by payment, not more than that.)
language score report
Re: language score report
IELTS will send the results to 5 institutions free of charge: http://www.ielts.org/candidates/after_t ... sults.aspx
But, sorry can't answer your question about universities in Finland. You might get some more answers on Monday (this board is quite quiet at weekends!)

As far as I know, Universities also have joint application system for Masters degrees. You can look at http://www.universityadmissions.fi/ for further info. IELTS score can be verified online. Therefore, there is no need for it to be sent over to different institutions by the IELTS organizer. However, as penelope has mentioned, you can still have it sent over to five different institutions for free of cost. You have to contact the concerned IELTS organizer before the score comes out as regards to where you want it sent. Since your primary concern seems to be IELTS score, you can send just a testified copy of IELTS score to educational institutions unlike TOEFL.da'bman wrote:hi,

Clarifying a bit, concerning the application process itself. The universities have introduced a joint application system, as mentioned above by everestbear, but not all university are yet/currently involved. That is, to some particular universities (or programmes!) you may need to apply separately - directly to the university. You'll best find out by visiting the http://www.universityadmissions.fi site.everestbear wrote:As far as I know, Universities also have joint application system for Masters degrees.
