I'll be watching MoTD soon, then the Calzaghe fight, did you stay up for it?

Stay up? It was scheduled for 6.15am, so where was the need to stay up?

Actually, I got up at 6.45 - got a stream going just in time for seconds out in the first - :)

Great bout after a wobbly start  Should've been stopped perhaps?

Didn't know the scheduled time, just seen it, great fight, with both due to bow out maybe they thought it was better to finish it with the blood dripping rather than stop it and bring an end to both their careers with a whimper.

As the commentator said maybe a money-spinning rematch in Cardiff to see their careers out???

Didn't think they'd stop it, and glad the ref didn't. Would've taken a seismic call to end it all for Roy Jones Jr at MSG. But he was blinded in one eye - dangerous stuff. Great shot to open him up like that. Calzaghe would've won it anyway, though :D

from todays Times.............Top 5 Football Nicknames (in reverse order if you ask me!)

1, Diomansy KamaraKnown as “Joe” because it’s a lot easier than saying Diomansy.

2, Patrick Vieira Or “Halifax”, at Arsenal, after the guy from the building society TV ads. He didn’t like it very much.

3, Neil Pointon The former Manchester City and Everton defender was dubbed “Dissa”. Think about it . . .

4, Fitz Hall The QPR defender was given the name “One Size” when he was at Oldham. One Size Fitz Hall. Total genius.

5, Kiki Musampa Responded to the name of “Chris” at Manchester City. Chris Musampa. Oh yes.

Not quite at the revelatory level of the TopGear:Who is The Stig? debate, but finally we have unmasked ChubbyP's sidekick.
