She's back, she had sneaked into another persons apartment and managed to stay hidden until 11:30pm

Very sneaky cat, I should be more careful about leaving the door open.

Very happy to have her back though. :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

sneaky bastard......... somehow i still hate cats. as children, we were fed lots of superstitions and one of them includes cats ... like how cats can attack peoples necks and might kill as well. i know cats attack the owners and this video onkko posted..... i had better go get a dog. Thinking of having a pet lately (seriously this time), to practice finnish on them :ochesey:

Mess their Whiskers out and they won't be able to sneak properly. These hairs are their passive tracking radars
Glad that you found it :)

We had the same problem earlier this year. Our cat was hiding in the parking lot across the street from our building for days. We searched, put up fliers, stopped passersby, etc. We received a tip from a friendly neighboor that they saw a cat matching the picture we posted on the flier in the parking lot. We still could not find our cat, but then my husband left some food out in the lot and hid. About 5 minutes later our cat came out to eat. He was able to "catch" him and bring him home. Our vet said that most likely the shock and cold kept him hidden and afraid to come out even though we were in that lot many times calling and looking. You might try to set some food out and see if it works. I know how hard it can be so I wish you the best of luck!

Also, you can contact the local animal shelter, http://www.hesy.fi/aukioloajat.htm, if you are in the Helsinki/Espoo area and give fliers to the nearby vetrinarians offices.
