I always had a soft spot for Hank, many people were nagging at him but they were all asking were he went :lol:

Anyhow he cannot help it that his family in law could not get children :)

Hi Meghan. I am an American now living and working in Finland via marriage and residence permit. Before we got married, I was back and forth to Finland quite often. At one point, I was knew I was going to exceed the 90 Day/6 month rule, so I applied for an additional stay Schengen Visa. Of course under normal circumstances (less than 90 days), you don't need a Schengen Visa as a US citizen, but in this instance, I applied for one and received it. I am almost certain this has to be done from abroad at a Finnish embassy/consolate. Say you are engaged and provide them with firm arrival and departure dates and a bank statement and you should have no prob. This of course does not solve your work issue, but if you just want to get back legally to be with your BF...this is one option.
