Re: hei , NEED HELP !
Just to make sure there is no misunderstanding, even if you get place to study and the student residence permit, you would not be eligible to to Finnish social security. Finnish immigration service wants to see 6000€ for one year in your bank account before your apply - and in any case, you need to be able to support yourself. Part time work is allowed for foreign students, but the job situation has got tougher lately, and it may well get worse before it gets better.
If you still want to try, here is a couple of places you should see:

Well I guess it depends - obviously, there's no such a thing as a "university preparatory year for all" after which you could choose between, say, biology or history... but there are certain subjects where you can (well, have to) choose your major after a year or so, like e.g. the business studies where -in addition to some core studies that are common to all- you must choose whether you concentrate on accounting, marketing, entrepreneurship etc (which then becomes your major). At least this was so at the University of Jyväskylä...Pursuivant wrote:Yes but that is Turkey. Depends a bit on the faculty / department - but definitely you do need to apply to some specific field of study to start with, you can't just apply "to university"
