Is this "obsession" really true or is it just a way of getting rid of somebody? Also employees have email addresses so you can contact then...but the same result...from 200 email you get only 2 replies if you are lucky

What's your opinion about it?
Yes, if we refer to job applications then the emails are all useless, nobody is really replying.Tiwaz wrote:Well, it is complex issue.
It can be beneficial to have contacts done through email if you are busy. So you can respond when you have time. Of course if there are 55 mails piled up by the time you have time... It can lead to slight forgetting.
It can also be way to get rid of person with least hassle. Often the case with job applications.
Or they might just hand the issue to next guy in line who does not know they should respond.
It really depends on email, who it is sent to and what it concerns.

it depends on whether you are an optimistic pessimist, a pessimistic masochist, a masochistic optimist, or an optimistic bombastic!!r32 wrote:Since living in Finland, 4,5 years now, I heard a lot of times this phrase: "write me an email, I you reply/get back to you"...and nobody really replayed.
