Health Care in Kajaani
Health Care in Kajaani
Hello,
will someone please help me out?
Are there health centers in kajaani?
And how come i have to pay 12.80euros to press the button for an appointment?
I went to the Hospital and they charged me 130euros to see the doctor!!!
Is this fair? All my friends pay only 22euros to see a doctor in the whole of Finland.
How can justice be served please????

No it doesn't work like this. If you are not covered by Kela then you have to pay the full price... You're a student, are you a EU citizen? Otherwise you are indeed required to have medical insurance that should cover your medical fees...

So, If you are a university student and have a student card you can go to university medical center.
They don't ask for the KELA card and far more cheaper than normal health care.
But obviously if your sickness is beyond a normal wound, a infection or a pain you should visit a hospital.
