You are aware of this, aren't you?
The language of the entrance examination is Finnish. The questions are given in Finnish and the answers must be written in Finnish.

So do you already know Finnish? (It's not really a "language teaching programme" for beginners...)

Yes, i know that the entrance exam is totaly in finnish.
I have been studying it for 2 years now. I finished the level 6 at the kesäyliopisto .
I m going to take more courses this summer including speaking clases and a writhing class.
I m thinking that by this time next year I ll be speaking finnish quite fluently :D
My plan is to move to Finland next year and live with my boyfriend, but i don t think i could find a good job if i don t speak and write perfectly finnish. That's why i was thinking to aply at the University of Helsinki to that study program.

That program is quite theoretical. Aren´t you aiming towards practcal language skills? That you achieve more efficiently just by every day communication. Or studying in Finnish something you really want to study. Just an idea.

Okay, that's a good thing  Just thought I'd mention it, some have mistaken that programme for a beginner's Finnish programme. I hope you'll get in!

Writhing class - is that for body language? :D

Well, the study program probably is mostly theoretical but I think it would still be really great for learning much more finnish and get a job after it. At the moment I am trying to speak finnish a little every day and i m also reading some easy texts on the net and the books i have. The problem is that my curren knowledge of the language woudn t be enough to get a decent job in Finland.

The thing is that i m finishing now my master degree here in Croatia. I have been studying here for five years now at university and aplying for a new study programe in Finland that will be taking another five years is just too much.
I m 23 now and i don t want to be in school up to my 30's.
I m finishing the study of italian language and literature & latin in language and roman literature. I know that the knowledge of those languages won't help me find a good job in Finland now.
My idea was to go to that study programe for 2 years and then try to find a good job in Helsinki haveing the knowledge of many foreign languages ( croatian, italian, english, german ) as an asset. :D

Maybe you could start reading news in Latin in the radio. :) Here: http://www.yleradio1.fi/nuntii/

That's not a bad idea. :D
I just listened to it for a moment and i can say that the speakers pronunciation really sucks!
Maby they could really need a person that can read it well :D
