Can anyone recommend an independent financial adviser here in Finland. I would like to get advice on things like life insurance policies for expats etc..
Thanks in advance.
Independent financial adviser

1) look in the mirror
2) Search
3) Go to a bank ( Most insurance companies are part of 1 bank or another, IF : go to Sampo, Pohjola go to OP, Norde go to Nordea, Tapiola, Fennia )

Thanks Raamv, actually that's not what I need because if I go to any company they will offer me their own product. Instead I would like to compare products and get the product which is right for my circumstances. Thanks anyway.

Yes, they will all want you to get something from them, but the trick is to go to all of them, collect information without letting them sign you up for anything on the spot, and then go home and look over what seems best to you. This is what most of us do around here. If there is another way, such as the one the OP is asking for, it would be very interesting to know about it.

Re: Independent financial adviser
There are insurance brokers (vakuutusmeklari), but i think few people use them, mostly i guess their services are geared towards companies.
Re: Independent financial adviser
There are AFAIK no companies like that that offer what you are looking for ( Insurance brokers still tack on an extra charge for the same insurance that you can find from the companies mentioned above)..marke wrote:Thanks Raamv, actually that's not what I need because if I go to any company they will offer me their own product. There is not a market for such companies here in Finland..
So its you who have to go to each, ( call or email them ) and then compare..
